Joey Shields & the Wheels

Featured

An amazing night was had by all, when Joey Shields & the Wheels rocked up at the Dock & Roll on 12th November 2011.

As always Joey gave a 1st class performance that kept the audience enthralled all night.

Rhythm & blues the way it should be!

Thanks boys

Red Rock

Red Rock lived up to their name when they rocked the Dock and Roll. With covers of Led Zepplin, The Doors, Frank Zappa, Thin Lizzy and Bad Company to name but a few the lads had the crowd on their feet from the start.

Their special guest, Mick Devenport (Nutz), was an unexpected bonus and anyone who thinks you’ve got to be in your 20’s to rock out, needs to check this guy out.

The band (one of Liverpool’s top rock bands) regularly feature on many of the North West’s top live music venues.

You can follow them @ http://www.myspace.com/redrocklive

Spring Heeled Jack

The Dock and Roll welcomed the fabulous trio ‘Spring Heeled Jack’ to the stage. The trio of local lads have been treading the Liverpool music boards for many years and were formerly known as Parlour Tricks (one of Liverpool’s top cover bands from the 80’s), they now perform an eclectic mix of Jazz, Folk and classic covers interpreted in their own inimitable way.

You can catch them in Stamps (Crosby) on the 1st Sunday of every month @ 6pm.

Opening Night @ Dock and Roll

The Dock and Roll has opened its doors for special nights that celebrate the amazing talent that it has seen come throught its doors.

There was a fantastic turn out for our opening night. Thanks to everyone that turned up and joined in the first open mic/jam night.

A great line up of local bands, who use the room for rehearsals, including

The Temps

The Gentle Scars

The Underdogs

The Squad

Thanks also to Shelley & Adam, Scott Carney, Owen Moran and all our other friends and family, who have supported us both on the night and during the run up to the night.

We hope that we will be hosting more ‘private functions’ in the future and will keep you all up to date.

Thanks again!
